BURNSCAR_ SPA v1.1 Released - 5/16/2013

On behalf of the NASA Direct Readout Program, the DRL is pleased to announce the release of the MODIS BURNSCAR_SPA Version 1.1. The MODIS Level 3 Burn Scar Science Processing Algorithm (BURNSCAR_SPA) maps post-fire burned areas using daily composites of 500m MODIS corrected reflectance and daily composites of 1km MODIS active fire observations. VIIRS-SDR SPA v1.5.06.03 Released - 4/11/2013

On behalf of the JPSS Program and the NASA Direct Readout Program, the DRL is pleased to announce the release of VIIRS-SDR SPA v1.5.06.03. The VIIRS-SDR Science Processing Algorithm (SPA) takes an input RDR HDF5 file (containing a VIIRS Science RDR and Spacecraft Diary RDR) and produces mission-compliant HDF5 SDR and Geolocation swath products. VIIRS-AF SPA v1.0.7 Released - 3/12/2013

On behalf of the NASA Direct Readout Program, the Direct Readout Laboratory (DRL) is pleased to announce the release of the VIIRS-AF_SPA v1.0.7. The VIIRS Active Fires Science Processing Algorithm (VIIRS-AF SPA) uses brightness temperatures derived from bands M13 and M15 to detect fires. IPOPP v2.1 Released - 3/6/2013

On behalf of the JPSS and S-NPP Missions as well as the NASA Direct Readout Program, the Direct Readout Laboratory (DRL) is pleased to announce the release of the International Polar Orbiter Processing Package (IPOPP) Version 2.1. IPOPP v2.1 has the capability to create S-NPP VIIRS, CrIS and ATMS output while retaining the capability to create Terra/Aqua MODIS output.
